Founder of Face Value, Aarzu Singh can be described best as a curious and passionate student at Modern School, Vasant Vihar (MSVV), New Delhi, where she studies English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science as part of the CBSE curriculum. Through studying Social Science particularly, she began developing an interest in gender studies, particularly in understanding how beauty standards impact confidence, identity, and opportunities for young women. Wanting to tap into these ideas further, she recently completed LIM College's ‘Fashion Merchandising, Branding & Marketing’ programme, where she learned about branding, consumer behaviour, and the influence of the fashion industry, while also studying social entrepreneurship through the University of Pennsylvania's Coursera course, which helped her understand how community-led initiatives can address real social challenges.
Outside of academics, Aarzu has volunteered with Govind Vateeka Animal Recovery Home, supporting animal rehabilitation and fundraising efforts. An experience that strengthened her belief in compassionate action. Together, these experiences encouraged her to create Face Value, hoping to provide young girls like her and the ones younger; with the knowledge, confidence, and supportive spaces that question unrealistic beauty ideals. Because Aarzu genuinely believes that every girl deserves to be valued.. for far more.. than her face value.
